Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Zeem Tech Solution (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit cloud.zeemtechsolution.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for the Site and can be reached at [privacy@yourdomain.com].
Short version: we do not ask you to create an account to read the Site. We keep server logs, we use cookies, and we show advertising served by Google. Advertising and analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner — you can change that choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Newsletter sign-up. Your email address, and the date you subscribed.
- Contact form and tips. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message.
- Comments, where enabled: your display name, email address, and comment text.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every web server, ours writes a log entry for each request. Those entries contain your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser’s user-agent string. We use them to keep the Site running, diagnose faults, and detect abuse such as scraping or brute-force traffic.
Information we do not collect
We do not ask for and do not want financial account numbers, passwords, API keys, access tokens, or credentials for your cloud tenants. If you are sending us a security tip, redact them first — see our Editorial Policy for how to report safely.
2. How we use information
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (UK/EU) |
|---|---|---|
| Serving and securing the Site | Server log data | Legitimate interests |
| Sending the newsletter you asked for | Email address | Consent |
| Replying to your message or tip | Name, email, message | Legitimate interests |
| Measuring which articles are read | Analytics cookies | Consent |
| Showing advertising | Advertising cookies and identifiers | Consent |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to build profiles for anyone other than the advertising purposes described below.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We group ours into two categories:
- Essential. Needed for the Site to work — for example, the key that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme, and the key that records your cookie choice so we stop asking. These are stored in your browser’s local storage and are never sent to us or to any third party.
- Advertising and analytics. Set by Google and its partners once you accept them. These are described in section 4 and in our Cookie Policy, which lists each cookie in detail.
Until you press Accept all, no advertising or analytics script is loaded and no such cookie is set. Choosing Essential only keeps them switched off. You may change your mind at any time via Cookie settings, or by clearing site data in your browser.
4. Advertising, Google AdSense and third-party vendors
This Site is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve the advertisements you see. The following disclosures are required by Google and apply once you have consented to advertising cookies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other sites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Opting out does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices, optout.networkadvertising.org, or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Google’s own handling of data is described in the How Google uses information from sites that use its services notice and its Privacy Policy.
Advertisers do not receive your name or email address from us. They may receive the technical data their own cookies collect, such as an advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the page you were reading. A current list of Google’s advertising partners is published at business.safety.google/adspartners.
5. Analytics
Where enabled, we use [Google Analytics 4 / Plausible / your analytics tool] to understand which articles people read and which devices they use. Analytics scripts load only after you accept analytics cookies. We configure IP anonymisation where the provider supports it, and we do not attempt to identify individual readers.
6. When we share information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers that run the Site on our behalf — hosting, email delivery for the newsletter, and form handling. They may process data only on our instructions.
- Advertising and analytics partners, as described in sections 4 and 5, and only with your consent.
- Legal requirements, where we must comply with a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfer, if the Site is ever sold or merged; you would be notified before your data becomes subject to a different policy.
7. How long we keep information
- Server logs: [30] days, then deleted or aggregated.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we do not email you again by mistake.
- Contact messages: [24] months, so we can follow up on a story.
- Cookies: for the lifetime set by the issuing party, listed in the Cookie Policy.
8. Your rights
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened. You also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
If you are in California
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected, request deletion, request correction, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Declining advertising cookies in our banner is how you exercise that opt-out on this Site. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Making a request
Email [privacy@yourdomain.com] with the request and enough detail for us to locate your data. We respond within one month, or sooner where the law requires it. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act.
9. Children’s privacy
The Site is written for IT and security professionals and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to submitted data to the people who need it, and we keep our software patched. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we will notify affected readers and the relevant authority if a breach ever requires it.
11. International transfers
Our hosting and advertising providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where personal data leaves the UK or EEA, the transfer relies on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change or the law requires it. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the Site, and where required we will ask for your consent again.
