Why we exist
Vendor advisories tell you a patch exists. They rarely tell you whether it matters for your setup, what breaks when you apply it, or what to monitor until you can. That gap is what we write into. Every article aims to answer one question: what should someone responsible for this system do next?
How we work
We check claims against primary sources — vendor advisories, CVE records, and our own lab reproductions — before publishing, and we label anything unconfirmed. Our sourcing rules, corrections process, and disclosure practices are set out in full in our Editorial Policy.
We are funded by advertising, not by the vendors we cover. Advertisers see no copy before publication and have no influence on our conclusions, including when we write about them. Sponsored content, if we ever run it, is labelled before the article begins.
