Cookie Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how cloud.zeemtechsolution.com uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember something between page loads — a preference, a session, or an advertising identifier. Local storage works similarly but the data stays in your browser and is never automatically sent to a server.
2. Your choice comes first
On your first visit we show a banner. Until you press Accept all, the Google advertising script is not loaded and no advertising or analytics cookie is set. Choosing Essential only keeps them off permanently. You can change your mind whenever you like from Cookie settings in the footer.
We use Google’s Consent Mode, so advertising and analytics storage are set to denied by default and only switched to granted after you accept. Readers in the EEA and the UK are additionally served through a Google-certified consent management platform, as Google requires.
3. What we use, and why
Essential (always on)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
ztc-theme |
Local storage | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark version of the Site. | Until you clear site data |
ztc-consent |
Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice so the banner stops appearing. | Until you clear site data |
Neither of these leaves your browser, and neither identifies you. They are strictly necessary for the Site to behave the way you asked it to, so they do not require consent.
Advertising (only after you accept)
Advertising on this Site is served by Google AdSense. Once you accept, Google and its partners may set cookies such as those below. Names and lifetimes are set by Google and can change; the authoritative list is in Google’s advertising privacy documentation.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
__gads | Measures ad interactions and limits how often you see the same ad. | Up to 13 months | |
__gpi | Ad personalisation and reporting. | Up to 13 months | |
IDE, test_cookie | doubleclick.net | Ad delivery, measurement, and checking that cookies work. | Up to 13 months / 15 minutes |
NID | google.com | Stores preferences used to personalise Google ads. | Up to 6 months |
Analytics (only after you accept)
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* |
[your analytics provider] | Counts visits and tells us which articles are read. We do not use it to identify individuals. | Up to 24 months |
4. Third parties that may set cookies
- Google AdSense / Google Ad Manager — advertising delivery and measurement.
- Google’s advertising partners — the current list is published at business.safety.google/adspartners.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the Site. It does not set advertising cookies, but your IP address is visible to Google when the font files are requested.
We do not control third-party cookies. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. How to control cookies yourself
- On this Site: Cookie settings reopens the banner.
- Personalised ads: turn them off at Google Ads Settings. You will still see ads, but they will be less relevant.
- Industry opt-outs: aboutads.info/choices, NAI opt-out, Your Online Choices (EU).
- In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its privacy settings. Blocking all cookies may break parts of this and other sites.
6. Changes to this policy
We update this page when we add or remove a technology. The date at the top of the page shows the current version.
